Emotional intelligence

The ability to be smart about one’s own emotions and those of people around. It’s important to notice, understand, and act on emotions effectively. (Rosen, 2019).

Children with higher emotional intelligence get engaged in school more easily, pay attention, have better and more effective relationships, and be more empathic. They are more likely to regulate their behaviors and have better academic grades
